A personal donation in any amount to the Lexington Hearing & Speech Center Capital Campaign to Buy The Building at 350 Henry Clay Ave., Lexington, Kentucky.
With your help, LHSC is purchasing the 70,600 square foot facility at 350 Henry Clay Boulevard for $1.6 million and will then invest an additional $750,000 updating the buildings to create an optimum environment for children with a variety of speech and language delays and disorders. One of the most important aspects of LHSC’s new home will be the increased space. In the new building, not only will the current programming for children with hearing, speech and language impairments be expanded more than 37% percent but the additional space will also allow LHSC to create several new and enhanced programs, such as a preschool curriculum specifically for autistic children, a parent’s day out program and a communication curriculum based summer program.
In order for LHSC to realize this dream and minimize the debt burden on the school’s operating budget, we will have to raise as much of the $2.35 million project cost as possible. Thanks to President Clinton’s visit and commitments from families and friends, the Center has raised a significant amount of the funds needed.
Thank you for helping Lexington Hearing & Speech Center Buy The Building!
